This 1915 charming, white country church is a beautifully rustic venue for your very special day. The Lone Star Church is the perfect venue for a small, intimate wedding ceremony or other church service, and does have electricity and large ceiling fans. If you are interested in booking this wonderful venue, the Prairie Museum is pleased to offer free admission to all guests who attend events in the Lone Star Church.

Rental Information
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to safely secure a booking date and will go towards the final balance. There is also a fully refundable $100 cleaning deposit required. The following listing is a guideline to help estimate the cost to rent the Lone Star Church at the Prairie Museum of Art & History.
Alcohol is not permitted in the Lone Star Church
Clean-up and set-up must be done within the designated booking time unless other arrangements are made; oftentimes, time is available during the week prior to the event and the days following an event for set-up and clean-up, but cannot be guaranteed
Guests may enjoy complimentary museum admission to tour the exhibits
Necessary damage fees, clean-up labor and/or additional hours needed are billed at $100 per hour
Wedding photos may be taken on museum premises during business hours at no extra cost
During Business Hours Wedding Ceremonies & other events - $300
Wedding ceremonies that take place during business hours can be held in the church for $300. Please remember this includes all decorating, preparations, photography needs, and cleaning. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends 1 to 5 p.m.
Couples who book their wedding ceremony in the church receive one complimentary "during business hours" hour for rehearsal
Typically takes place at 4 p.m. on Friday, before your Saturday event
After-Hours Wedding Ceremonies & other events - $400
Wedding ceremonies and other event occasions that take place after business hours can be held in the church for $400. This package allows decorating and setting up during normal business hours on the day of your event, up to two consecutive "after-hours" hours for your event, and an hour to clean up. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends 1 to 5 p.m.
